※We regret to announce that the first “Artisan” collaboration project of Kazuya Ishida and Auberge TOKITO , scheduled for Saturday, December 9, 2023,  has been postponed due to various reasons. (December 7, 2023) Details here.

Auberge TOKITO is developing a series of collaborative events focusing on Japanese food culture, of which this collaboration will be the first of the series. From 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, we will be holding SHOKKAN [Touch x Taste] with Kazuya Ishida and Auberge TOKITO with the theme of Japan’s cutting-edge ceramics and food. Executive Chef-Producer Yoshinori Ishii welcomes Kazuya Ishida, an up-and-coming Bizen ware artist whom he befriended in his London days. In the first part of the two-part event is a talk by the pair about ceramics and food and a potter’s wheel demonstration by Mr. Ishida, followed by a collaboration dinner in the second part.

Inspired by the new works of Mr. Ishida, a unique and prominent character, Executive Chef Ishii offers his Omakase course together with a team of chefs with various backgrounds. The uniqueness and sophistication of the unconventional dishes make for an attractive dining experience.
